Jeff

Jeff Shannon improves efficiency, effectiveness and customer experience by optimizing operations and supply chain management.  He has successfully led major ERP system and distribution automation projects on time and on budget, resulting in better than planned payback.

Jeff has worked in industries and for clients ranging from pharmaceuticals, food distribution, book publishing, industrial products distribution, lubricants, transportation and music distribution to oil & gas and utilities. He is known for improving the bottom line by applying a ‘Lean’ approach and the appropriate application of automation and systems. 

Jeff holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University, has completed continuing education with The Logistics Institute and has completed the Dr. Michael Hammer Process Master Certification. He has also completed training and successfully led ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 program implementations.

  • Led the RFP process for 3PL services for a Pharmaceutical Client resulting in significantly improved service levels and a 27% cost reduction.
  • Re-organized the workflow, processes and physical layout of a distribution centre, laying the foundation to increase sales by 50% with no additional labour.
  • Streamlined the Shipping/Receiving processes for a Distributor eliminating non-value adding steps resulting in a 34% reduction in workload.
